Beat boxing is itself an underrated art that most people in the world are not familiar of. It uses person’s own voice to make sounds that when executed in a rhythmic pattern forms music. Beat box artists put a lot of effort in learning the sounds. Moreover developing their own style and being original is harder than learning different sounds. Lately loopstations are used to set a particular beat or melody in a loop and layer it up with other sounds. This has gained a lot of attention as beat boxers have used loopstations to create complete songs without using any instrument. While talking about beat boxing lets have a look at some beat boxers that are underrated in the Asian beat box community.

Why are beat boxers underrated mostly in Asian countries?
In Asian countries, many skilled beat boxers are underrated due to lack of international exposure. Mainly in South Asian countries such and India and Pakistan, there are alot of beat boxers that have there own style that is influenced by ancient sub-continental classical music which is very interesting but they do not have appropriate platform to showcase their skills. Recently Indonesian beat box community has grown exponentially. They have carrying out Their national beat box championships for the past two years and are providing platform for many young beat boxers to bring their talent to the stage. Indian beat box community has also grown alot in past few years. An Indian beat boxer Ish, as mentioned above, has made his way to one of the most prestigious event in the world, Grand Beat Box Battle (GBBB) representing India. In Pakistan, their are beat boxers like Muhammad Azhar Mehmood, Saad Imtiaz and Bilal Rehman doing their job to bring Pakistani beat box scene into the international world but their is still alot of effort required by Pakistani beat boxers if they want themselves to be recognized internationally. Recently their had been KGL beat box championships which was at a small level but the organizers have intentions of arranging a national level beat box battle championship so that the skilled underrated beat boxers have an opportunity to expose themselves in the country and then the soon the world.
Cultural exchange as a source of beatbox exposure
The beat box culture can be promoted if world renowned beat boxers start visiting countries that do not have that much exposure to the outside world’s beatbox community. This can help younger beat boxers to grow and find their way to represent their country at international level.
